This group is a specialist technical group for the KnowledgePoint Ebola support website for operational agencies that are involved the Ebola response. The West African Ebola virus epidemic, first reported in 2014, was the most widespread outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in history and it still requires constant efforts by organisations and professionals at international, national and community level. The aim of this group is to offer valuable and prompt technical support to those involved in the Ebola response.

This private specialist group supports the strengthening of governance systems of district-based programs, monitoring and learning efforts to achieve safe, affordable and reliable water across six African countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mali, Niger and Uganda. This 4-year initiative (2018-2021) is funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and implemented by IRC WASH with local partners in the six countries. The group will be piloted in Uganda before being scaled-up to the other 5 countries.
