Looking for locally produced cashew nut processing equipment in West
Africa
I have been asked about locally produced cashew nut processing machines for cashew processing in West Africa in the region Senegal, Gambia, & Guinea Bissau. The estimated harvest is around 3 tonnes, maybe up to 5 tonnes.
I would also like to know what can be done with the cashew nut shell liquid on a commeric al basis for a small scale producer.

The organisation that I was thinking of was the Africa Cashew Alliance.

They also have publications such as “Export manual to guide cashew processors” and “Training Manual on raw nut quality”
An NGO that has worked on Cashew nut processing in the past in the West Africa region is Enterprise Works, they may be able to provide you with some useful information.

part of the US Government's response to Schumacher. They are an NGO and have recently made a
strategic shift towards business development services as the leading edge of their work. They
have worked on cashew processing in West Africa.
Another organisation that I have the address of is SAFPP which looks like they are based in South Africa but have worked in Guinea.
