Does anyone know the accumulation rate of a closed pit latrine in an ETC

I do realise it large depends how and how often the latrine slab might be cleaned, but perhaps there are some indicative figures based on practical experience in an ETC or CTC.

* Please note that the context is treatment of patients with Ebola virus *

Hello,

This discussion on the SuSanA forum is about sludge accumulation at the bottom of pits. As you will see it is a big topic with no definite answer, but I suggest you read the whole discussion and see for yourself.

If any solid waste goes in the pit, it also has a huge influence so be wary of it.
