Which materials can be burned or buried when decommissioning structures like camps?

I am trying to find out which materials can be burned or buried when decommissioning structures like camps. Specific examples are materials like tarpaulin, broken or damaged PVC water pipes and poly tanks. Also scrap metals.

Thank you for your help

Nothing that does not fall in the "organic bio-degradable category".

No PVC, no metal, no glass, no nylon, no plastic, no milk or juice cartons (they are full of plastic and metal)...

No treated wood, no fiber-cement tiles, particularly with asbestos.

Particle wood and cardboard may contain non bio-degradable inks or glues!

It is OK to bury:

Tarp if it is made out of cotton or some other natural fiber.

paper if it contains no ink or organic inks.

Just as a starter...

But whatever you do, please do not burn it. Bury it if you have to but do not burn.
