Behavioral Change and Total Sanitation
Could somebody help me on how to change the behavior of the community towards sanitation?
Some people refer to CLTS, however, it is not an universal method to achieve total sanitation and is not applicable everywhere.
Building toilets for the communities in developing countries is not the solution to achieving 100% sanitation. Therefore, other solutions are needed. Please provide suggestions.

Asha, perhaps you could try the PHAST method of hygiene promotion, see https://www.sswm.info/content/particip... You could also try sanitation marketing https://www.wsp.org/sites/wsp.org/file... For working with individuals you could try motivational interviewing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motivat... Another useful technique is barrier analysis https://www.coregroup.org/storage/barr... There is a wonderful summary of different models of hygiene promotion here: https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rc... The Behaviour Change Wheel could also be useful: https://implementering-dk.dk/wp-conten...
