Information source about sanitation systems in the affected areas of
Ecuador after the recent earthquake
A WaterAid supporter has got in touch to ask if we know of any good sources of information about sanitation in Ecuador. Although we don't work there I thought perhaps someone might know of one?

Hi Katy. After major emergencies, the humanitarian system is activated and part of it is the WASH Cluster, i.e. the coordination instance of actors involved in WASH. You can see general emergency information on https://www.humanitarianresponse.info... including situation reports, the flash appeal which has got a good snapshot of relevant information. For reconstruction, you would usually need to wait for a wider assessment in a few weeks to give directions and estimated amounts.
