Terms of Reference for WASH Working Group?
Does anyone have an example of a Terms of Reference for a National WASH Technical Working Group or Coordination body that they could share? In Myanmar a national TWG is getting going again after pause and it is time for a rethink of the goals and purpose of the group. Also government needs to be in the drivers seat now, and supported by NGOs. Grateful for any examples.

Hi Penny, you can have a look at the WASH Alliance on https://www.washalliance.nl/ ; they try to make WASH people work together in given countries towards more sustainability (albeit using a pretty set model of what it means to them). Their results framework on https://www.washalliance.nl/resultsfra... is a good way to look at an alliance's impact, and their goals are on https://www.washalliance.nl/about/goals/
Otherwise KEWASNET is a good network in Kenya, no TORs that I have seen but their website helps to define how they work and has their strategy: https://www.kewasnet.co.ke/index.php/j...
Maybe a good start would be to advocate for an annual JSR (and JTR, Joint Technical Review, for more technical questions), see a recent multi-country review here: https://www.rural-water-supply.net/en/...
Hi Penny, I am attaching 3 documents here which I feel might assist. Maybe you can glean from them. I hope they are useful?Humanitarian response ToR gor WASH general_tors_fro_scp_revised_spct_v1.pdf.

Penny just so you are aware - I did send an email out to key people in our regions highlighting this question, but I have not heard anything back. I will send out a reminder see if we can unearth something.
