Cost effective aerial ropeway for agricultural use
Dear Sir or Madam, I am contacting you to learn if you may point me in the right direction. I currently own a coffee farm in a very mountainous region of Colombia, and I am interested in cost-effective methods of facilitating the harvest of this farm. One such method I am contemplating is the use of an aerial ropeway, but I lack specific information regarding companies who can provide such construction expertise and whether or not it would indeed be cost-effective. Any assistance you can provide would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards, Jack Parker

Aerial ropeway technology is probably used most frequently in the harvesting and handling of materials related to forestry. It may be appropriate to approach that industry with this request. There is current guidance published by WorkSafeBC in British Columbia, Canada, e.g. "Cable Yarding Systems Handbook". There are contact details for the publisher in this document and they would probably be able to provide names of companies who operate in this area of technology. Good luck, Giles Waley
