taps getting left on!
I know this seems like a pretty dumb question but a supporter has said that:
It is tribal custom to send the youngest member of the family to fetch water. They are either too small or unable to open or close the taps. On most occasions the water was left running due to the taps NOT being turned off. I witnessed an installation of 6 outlet taps near Soweto. After a couple of weeks people could not get to the taps because of the mud and slush around them solely due to the fact of NOT turning the water off
I'm tempted to dismiss this comment as ridiculous, I've not met a child who couldn't turn a tap on/off, but thought i'd check to see if this is a real issue?
Thanks
