use of trapezoidal blocks in school sanitary facilities/household

As well as using reinforced burnt bricks and ISSB blocks, In Kenya, we have experiences with partners using trapezoidal blocks. These has been tried for household sanitation, relatively cheap and used on round pits to promote sanitation through CLTS approach. However, we have a proposal to use this for school blocks in areas with black cotton soils. I am wondering if anyone has come across the literature supporting their use..please share
